This striking quilt is made using scraps of any color that will work beautifully together. Use two packs of five-inch charm squares, if you have them on hand, or scraps from your stash to make this quilt. As the background helps to tie everything together, there is no doubt that it will work well with just about any combination of prints.
There is nothing wrong with using navy blue for your background, but if you don’t like it, you can swap it out for whatever you like. Any color combination that you choose for the quilt will make it look beautiful.
In spite of the fact that it is intended to be used as a charity quilt, this is one that you might find difficult not to keep for yourself. There is no complicated sewing involved in making this quilt, and it will be fun to make it up in many colors and sizes to suit your taste.
The completed quilt measures 68 1⁄2 inches by 84 1⁄2 inches. Material lists and cutting instructions are included in the downloadable pattern for the following quilt sizes: 44 ½ inches square, 44 ½ inches × 52 ½ inches, and 60 ½ inches × 68 ½ inches.
