You may recall seeing instructions for making a giant fabric snowflake on Shabby Fabrics’ website. Below is also a video showing how to make these giant snowflakes!
Now you can make them in any size.
In order to determine the finished size, it is necessary to know the size of the starting squares. Snowflakes of 6 1/2 inches will be produced by small squares of 2 1/2 inches in size.
Regardless of the color scheme, they will look pretty in any combination of Christmas colors, although metallic prints will add an extra touch of sparkle. In addition, they can be stored well in plastic and can be displayed year after year because they are so durable.

Using Heat’n Bond Ultra Hold, the snowflakes are given structure, and a glue gun secures the parts in place. If you need to hold small parts in place while the glue dries, then long-handled tweezers are a handy tool to have on hand.
